Wilfred Garcia

Wilfred Garcia was born in Acoma Pueblo in 1954. His mother-in-law, the late Stella Shutiva, taught him the fundamentals of working with clay in the traditional way. He learned it well because he's won Best in Show at the Santa Fe Indian Market plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place at other times. Sadly, he passed in 2018.
