Kathleen Collateta

Kathleen Collateta was born into Hopi-Tewa First Mesa in 1969 and began producing pottery for the marketplace in 1985 after spending years working with her grandmother, Sara Collateta, and learning the traditional process.

Because there are two Kathleen Collateta's making pottery, she signs her works K. Collateta with a sun symbol above her name (as she is a member of the Sun Clan).
