Teri Cajero

Jemez Pueblo

Teri Cajero was born to Anita and Aaron Cajero Sr. of Jemez Pueblo in September 1984. Her paternal grandparents were Esther and Loretta Cajero, her maternal grandparents Teresita Loretto of Jemez and John Carillo of Isleta. Her great-grandparents were John and Loretta Cajero. She learned to make pottery from her parents as she was growing up. She began earning awards for her pottery before she finished high school.

Teri has also earned ribbons at the Arizona State Museum, New Mexico State Fair, Real Earth Expo and at the Eiteljorg Museum of the American West in Indianapolis.
