Efrain Lucero

Efrain Lucero is a potter in Mata Ortiz. He learned how in the late 1980's from Juan Andrew, his brother-in-law. These days he mostly produces polychrome pottery using a graphite black clay body in modern shapes and old Paquimé and Mimbres designs. Sometimes he collaborates with his wife, Elicena Cota.

Apparently he has a son named Efrain Lucero Jr. who is also producing pottery.
