Camille Moquino

Santa Clara Pueblo

Born in 1979, Camille Moquino is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. She is the daughter of Yolanda Velarde Moquino and James Moquino, Sr., granddaughter of Frances Naranjo Salazar and great-granddaughter of Flora Naranjo. Camille learned a lot about making pottery the traditional way as she grew up watching and working with all of them.

Camille seems to prefer making black-on-black pieces, and decorating them with feather, rain cloud and avanyu designs.
