Warren Coriz

Warren Coriz was the son-in-law of Arthur and Hilda Coriz. He didn't start making pottery until he was in his 30's. He learned through watching his wife, Ione Coriz, and working with his mother-in-law and Robert Tenorio. Warren took home a 2nd Place ribbon at the Eight Northern Pueblos Arts and Crafts Show in 2005, then took two 1st Place ribbons in 2006. He developed a technique which lends a shadow (3D) effect to his designs, making them really stand out from more traditional Santo Domingo pottery. Warren passed away in August, 2011.
