Robin Teller

Isleta Pueblo

Born in 1954, Robin Teller is a potter from Isleta Pueblo. She learned her pottery making techniques from her mother, Stella Teller. She's been actively making pottery since about 1988. She usually makes storytellers, nativities, human and animal figures, and polychrome jars and bowls.

Robin is also the great-great-granddaughter of Marcellina Jojola, great-granddaughter of Emilia Lente Carpio and granddaughter of Rudy and Felicita Jojola. The Jojola's and Carpio's are big names in the history of traditional Isleta arts and crafts.
