Bonnie Fragua
Jemez Pueblo
Bonnie Fragua was born into Jemez Pueblo in March 1966. She has been making pottery since she started learning from her mother, Grace Loretto, when she was about eight years old.
Bonnie specializes in creating monks and storytellers of different sorts. She digs her clay on the lands of Jemez Reservation, uses natural slips and fires her pottery outdoors.
Rose, Cindy, Felicia, Emily and Carol (all Bonnie's sisters) are also potters.
