Tammie Allen

Jicarilla Apache

Tammie Allen is a Jicarilla Apache potter who produces micaceous clay jars and pots. She was born in Blanco, New Mexico in 1964 and attended Coronado High School in Gallina, New Mexico on her way to earning a Bachelor of Humanities degree at the College of Santa Fe.

Working with micaceous clay pottery since 1995, she entered the Santa Fe Indian Market in 2005 and earned First and Third Place ribbons in her division that year.
