Stella Goodman

Navajo

Stella Goodman was a Navajo potter. She appears to have specialized in "beehive" pots: smoothed on the inside, coils showing on the outside. I've come across a few of her pots that were smooth below the shoulder and coils above the shoulder but most were showing rounded coils like traditional Navajo pottery from a couple hundred years ago.

And like most Navajo potters, there's little information available about her.
