Gloria Gachupin

Zia Pueblo

Gloria Gachupin was a traditional potter from Zia Pueblo. She was making polychrome ollas, jars and bowls through the 1970's and 1980's. Her favorite designs included the roadrunner, the turkey and other birds, and the yucca plant, rainbows and clouds.

Gloria and her sister, Helen Gachupin, were participants in the "One Space: Three Visions" exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum in 1979.
