Vicky Calabaza

Santo Domingo Pueblo

Vicky Calabaza was born into Santo Domingo Pueblo in April, 1959. Her parents were Emiliano and Petra G. Tenorio, her grandmother Lupe L. Tenorio. Vicky learned to make pottery through watching and working with her grandmother.

Vicky likes to make polychrome jars, bowls and plates and decorate them with flowers, birds and geometric designs. She is a regular participant in the annual Labor Day Weekend Santo Domingo Arts & Crafts Show.
