Born in 1963, Kenneth James Sando is a potter from Jemez Pueblo. He was inspired to become a potter by two of his closest friends: Don Chinana and Gabriel Cajero. They also taught him the fundamentals of the traditional craft.
Kenneth specializes in storyteller figures, although he will sometimes make a pot. He also makes clowns, Corn Maidens, turtles and bears, all of hand-dug clay, hand-coiled style and natural paints.
