Alfredo Freddy Rodriguez is a potter working in Mata Ortiz. I've seen mention that he learned the basics of the pottery-making craft at the home of one of Juan Quezada's nephews but Freddy's design style is generally not of the Quezada style. He works a lot with black and white sgraffito designs (Day of the Dead, Night of the Dead) and other contemporary sgraffito and polychrome designs. His wife, Diana Loya, is also a potter. Emiliano Rodriguez is their son and he's producing pottery now, too. His decorating style is very similar to his parents, although he has had to make his own niche.
