Elvira Bugarini

Elvira Bugarini is a potter from Mata Ortiz. She seems to mostly make various forms of seedpots and cover them with intricate geometric designs. Her designs are very similar to what she learned from her sister, Laura Bugarini, when Laura taught her how to make pottery. Elvira has gone on to earn a Best of Show ribbon at the annual Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Mata Ortiz exhibition.
