Graciela Martinez

Mata Ortiz

The sister of Pricila Martinez, Graciela Martinez Quezada de Silveira is also a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz. Her husband is Goyin Silveira, another award-earning Mata Ortiz potter. She and Goyin often collaborate on projects but only the painter signs the pot.

Graciela sometimes participates in the juried show at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson and recently earned a People's Choice award there for one of her pieces.
