Patricia Honie

Hopi

Patricia Honie (1919-2001) was a Hopi potter from the village of Sichomovi. Her sister was Juanita Healing but she learned to make pottery from her father's mother. She raised eight children before she put her hands in clay. She was active in the marketplace from about 1960 to 1987. She did not make a lot of pottery in her career.
