Alvina Yepa

Alvina Yepa was born into the Sun Clan at Jemez Pueblo in August 1954. She began painting and polishing pottery for her mother, Felipita Nonche Yepa, when she was about eight years old.

She's been producing pottery for the market since the early 1980s and earned First Place and Best of Division ribbons for her sgraffito pottery at the 1987 Santa Fe Indian Market.

Jemez Pueblo Potters
