Chrislyn Fragua

Jemez Pueblo

In Chrislyn's own words: "My Grandmother once told my mother to always be in a good mood while forming our pottery. As you can tell from our expressions on our work, we always enjoy making our pottery."

Born in November 1973, Chrislyn Fragua began learning the traditional way of making pottery from her mother, Linda Lucero Fragua, when she was twelve. Today she likes making storytellers and nativities, but she also says she makes whatever the clay asks of her.
