Joe Cajero Jr

Jemez Pueblo

Joe Cajero Jr. was born to Esther and Joe Cajero Sr. of Jemez Pueblo in 1971. His grandparents were John and Loretta Cajero, his great-grandmother Petra C. Romero. He learned to make pottery from his mother and from Felix Vigil. Joe also earned an AFA degree from the Institute for American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.

Joe is especially known for his koshare clown figures.
