Beth Sakeva

Hopi

Beth Sakeva was born in 1926 and passed on in 1994. She lived most of her life in Tewa Village and was active as a potter from about 1940 to about 1975. She mostly produced black-on-red bowls and plates. Her son, Alfonso Sakeva, married Vernida Sakeva and moved to Vernida's home at Sichomovi. Vernida is also a potter.
