Kimberly Garcia

Santa Clara Pueblo

Kimberly Garcia is a potter with 1/2 Santa Clara and 1/2 Ohkay Owingeh (formerly San Juan) heritage who learned the traditional art while she was growing up. Her mother was Ethel Vigil and her grandmother Mida Tafoya. Sherry Tafoya and Sharon Naranjo Garcia are her aunts.

Everything I have seen from Kimberly has been large, red, well-shaped, well-carved and well-polished. I've seen at least one piece that she did in collaboration with Sherry Tafoya.
