The daughter-in-law of Carolyn Concho, Alisha Sanchez is also a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She graduated from the University of New Mexico a few yesrs ago and moved back to the pueblo. She settled in with George Concho and learned to make pottery from his mother, Carolyn Concho. As of 2020, it seems there is a bit of competiton between Alisha and Amanda Lucario as to the sharpness of their lines...

In 2017 Alisha earned the 1st Place ribbon at Santa Fe Indian Market for painted polychrome pottery in the style of Zuni, Acoma, Laguna, any form. She also earned a 2nd Place ribbon that year for a traditional miniature piece she entered at Santa Fe.
