Kim Vallo

Acoma Pueblo

Born in 1968, Kim Vallo is a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She grew up mostly in Grants, NM, and credits her immediate family with being her inspiration to make pottery. It was most likely her mother, Marie Vallo, and grandmother, Gladys Garcia, who taught her the traditional ways.

Kim seems to specialize in fine line designs, usually black-on-white pottery.
