Wanda Aragon

Wanda Aragon was born in Acoma Pueblo in 1948. She learned the traditional way of making pottery from her mother Frances Torivio. She specialized in producing small pots and jars, nothing larger than 2 inches in any dimension.

Wanda has been recognized with awards for over 25 years at Santa Fe Indian Market, Heard Museum Guild and Indian Arts Fair, Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian and many others.

Wanda's signature varies a bit but is usually something like this: "Dzinats'ituwits'a W. Aragon Ak'u, N.M."
