Elvira Bugarini is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz. She seems to mostly make various forms of seedpots and cover them with intricate geometric designs. Her designs are very similar to what she learned from her sister, Laura Bugarini, when Laura taught her how to make pottery. Except Laura's designs are very orderly and Elvira's are often all over the place. Elvira has gone on to earn a Best of Show ribbon at the annual Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Mata Ortiz exhibition.
